Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund and Cancellation Policy explains how refunds, cancellations, and plan changes work for all services offered by ONE SMART SHIELD. By purchasing any plan from our website, you agree to the terms mentioned below.

1. General Policy

All protection plans sold by ONE SMART SHIELD are digital service plans. Once activated, they become non-refundable and non-transferable.

We do not provide refunds for:

  • Activated plans
  • Partially used plans
  • Claims already approved or processed
  • Incorrect plan selection by the customer

2. Cancellation Before Activation

You may request cancellation before your plan is activated.

A cancellation request before activation may be approved only if:

  • The device is not yet verified
  • No service request has been filed
  • No service has been availed

If cancellation is approved, a partial refund may be issued after deducting:

  • Processing fee
  • Payment gateway charges

3. No Refund After Activation

Once a plan is activated, no refund will be provided under any circumstances.

This includes situations where:

  • Customer changes mind
  • Device sold or exchanged
  • Incorrect IMEI submitted
  • User not aware of terms
  • Device damaged before activation
  • Duplicate purchase made by customer

Please check your device details and plan information carefully before activating.

4. Service Request-Based Refunds

Refunds are not provided for claims.

Even if:

  • Your service request is rejected
  • Your service request is approved but you choose not to continue
  • Device repair takes longer due to parts or logistics delays

No refunds will be issued once a service request is filed.

5. Service Fee / Deductibles

Some plans include a service fee or deductible at the time of service request. This fee is non-refundable, even if:

  • You cancel the plan later
  • service request is rejected
  • You change your decision after filing

6. Incorrect Information Provided by Customer

Refund will not be provided if:

  • The IMEI submitted is wrong
  • Invoice is incorrect or fake
  • Damage occurred before plan activation
  • Any attempt of fraud is detected

In such cases, the plan may be cancelled without refund.

7. Failed Payment Situations

If money is deducted from your bank/wallet but the plan is not activated:

  • The amount will be automatically refunded by the payment gateway
  • Refund time may vary from 5–7 business days

We do not control bank processing times.

8. Duplicate Order

If you accidentally purchase the same plan twice for the same device:

  • Refund is possible only for the plan that is not activated
  • You must request a refund within 48 hours of purchase
  • Proof of duplicate transaction is required

9. Refund Processing Time

If a refund is approved, it will be processed within:

  • 7–10 business days for online payments
  • Refund will be credited to the same payment method used during purchase

We do not offer cash refunds.

10. How to Request a Cancellation or Refund

All requests must be sent via email to: support@onesmartshield.com

Include:

  • Registered mobile number
  • Plan ID / Order ID
  • IMEI number
  • Reason for cancellation or refund

Requests without proper details may be delayed or rejected.

11. Our Rights

ONE SMART SHIELD reserves the right to:

  • Approve or reject any cancellation or refund request
  • Modify the policy at any time
  • Deny refunds in case of fraud or misuse

Updated policy will be posted on the website whenever changes are made.
