If you do not agree, please do not use our services.

1. Definitions

  • "Company", "We", "Us", "Our" refers to ONE SMART SHIELD.
  • "User", "You", "Customer" refers to anyone using our website or purchasing our services.
  • "Plan" refers to any protection plan, service plan, or repair service offered by us.
  • "Device" refers to the smartphone or gadget covered under the plan.

2. Nature of Service

ONE SMART SHIELD provides mobile protection and service plans. We are not an protection service company and are not regulated under IRDAI.

Our plans offer repair, service, or replacement benefits through third-party service partners and authorized repair centers based on the terms of the plan selected.

3. Eligibility for Plans

To activate a protection plan:

  • The device must be in good working condition.
  • The customer must provide a valid invoice/proof of purchase.
  • Device IMEI or serial number must match the submitted details.
  • Used devices may require verification (photos/video).

We may reject activation if the device is already damaged or tampered with.

4. Plan Activation

Your plan becomes active when:

  • Full payment is received, and
  • Device verification (if required) is completed.

Any damage that occurs before activation is not covered.

5. Coverage Details

Each plan has its own coverage terms. A plan may include coverage such as:

  • Accidental physical damage
  • Screen breakage
  • Liquid damage
  • Theft or loss (if specified)

Coverage varies based on the plan selected. Please read your specific plan details before purchase.

6. Exclusions

Plans do not cover:

  • Intentional or fraudulent damage
  • Device loss without valid proof
  • Unauthorized repairs
  • Cosmetic scratches
  • Manufacturing defects
  • Damage before plan activation
  • Data loss
  • Third-party accessories

7. Claims

To file a service request, the user must:

  • Submit required documents
  • Provide accurate information
  • Share clear photos/videos of the damaged device
  • Cooperate with the inspection team

We may approve, reject, or request additional documents based on service request assessment.

  • Previous unauthorized repair
  • Fraudulent activity
  • Ineligible incident

8. Repair Process

  • All repairs are done at authorized service centers.
  • Only genuine or approved spare parts are used.
  • Repair timelines may vary based on part availability and damage level.
  • Customers must back up their data. We are not responsible for data loss.

9. Replacement Policy

A replacement device may be provided only when:

  • Repair is not possible or
  • Repair cost exceeds the device value (as per our policy)

Replacement may be a new, refurbished, or equivalent model, depending on availability.

10. Customer Responsibilities

You must:

  • Provide correct and original information
  • Keep the invoice and plan details safe
  • Not engage in fraudulent claims
  • Maintain the device in proper condition
  • Coordinate with pickup/delivery partners when needed

11. Limitation of Liability

ONE SMART SHIELD is not responsible for:

  • Data loss during repair
  • Delays caused by courier, logistics, or part availability
  • Loss or damage caused by third-party websites
  • Consequential or indirect damages
  • Personal losses due to device downtime

Our liability is limited only to the benefits mentioned in the plan.

12. Payment, Fees & Refunds

  • All payments must be made in full at the time of purchasing the plan.
  • Plan fees are non-refundable unless specified in our refund policy.
  • Service request fees or deductibles may apply based on the plan.

13. Termination of Plan

Your plan may be terminated if:

  • Fraudulent activity is detected
  • Incorrect documents are submitted
  • Device IMEI does not match the registered details
  • Unauthorized repair is performed

No refund will be issued in such cases.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update or modify these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the website with a revised "Last Updated" date. Continued use of the website or services means you accept the updated Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of local courts.
